Courtney Haley
Courtney is our new Welly manager, she is an Early Years Teacher and also has a BA Hons in Primary Education. Courtney is passionate about empowering the team to achieve the best outcomes for all children. She is committed to building positive, nurturing relationships with children and their families.
Courtney enjoys spending time with her family. She’s regularly out walking and enjoys visiting different parks and attractions with her young daughter. She also loves to read and watch movies.
Laura Reid
Laura is level 3 qualified and is a key worker to blue group. She can often be found reading a range of books to a small group or leading an impromptu music and dance session. Her genuine passion for working with children of this age group is evident through her popularity.
Her sense of humour also makes her an uplifting member of the team. She is always one of the first to get outside and get the mud kitchen going. Laura enjoys spending time with her family, going on long walks and visiting new places. She is also a big fan of Disney movies!
Jordana Collett
Jordana has a real passion for Welly Preschool, she initially joined as a student and after qualifying joined the team. Jordana left to have her daughters,who have both attended Welly and has now returned as a Key Worker to our Little Wellies. Jordana is originally from Brazil, but has been living in England for the last 10 years. She loves to create strong relationships with the children, and have lots of fun, especially with messy play.
Jordana enjoys to travel, run and read books in her free time. Most of all she loves to spend time with her two girls.
Sarah Union
Sarah is a qualified teacher and has worked with pre-school aged children throughout her career. She is a thoughtful member of the team and can always be relied upon for coming up with fantastic learning opportunity ideas for the children at Welly.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, going out on day trips, reading, watching movies and musicals.
Ellie Lewis
Ellie started working in adult education specialising in people with special needs. Having re-trained to work within the Early Years sector, Ellie offers a particularly insightful perspective to the pre-school.
Also holding a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification, she has a passion and knowledge for outdoor learning which is popular with children and adults alike. She loves her garden and spends lots of time outside walking her dog. Her perfect place is the beach, loving long cliff top walks in Cornwall, her favourite place on earth!
Claire Skyner
Claire is the Pre-school Deputy and SENCo. She is a qualified teacher with a passion for Early Years. Her experience within the teaching sector brings a wealth of knowledge to our pre-school and an invaluable perspective on children moving onto Reception class.
In her spare time she loves cycling, running and going on long walks with her family in the woods. Claire loves animals, especially giraffes! She also enjoys reading, sewing and going to the theatre.
Melissa Palmer
Melissa is Level 3 qualified and is Key worker to Purple Group. She has been working in early years for many years and loves arts and crafts.
She is also a level 1 football coach for Bradley Stoke united and a qualified Rainbow leader.
Melissa has two children aged 11 and 8 and are always very busy with either football, drama or Guides.
In her spare time she likes to read and go to the theatre. She is also trying hard to keep fit and get into running.
