Forest School
Forest school is a type of outdoor education in which children learn personal, social and technical skills and start to develop important skill sets such as risk taking and becoming independent in decision making.
During the spring/summer term our Big Wellies have the opportunity to spend a block week at forest school. These session are led by our Forest School level 3 leader and takes part in the grounds of one of the local primary schools. During the sessions the children will have the opportunity to take part in cooking activities on the campfire and free exploration of the woodland activities including tree climbing, swinging, den building, foraging, bug hunting and much more.
